Financial Aid and Scholarships

Ron Radney, Ed.D., is the Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships. He is dedicated to student success and assisting those who need financial assistance to achieve their educational goals. He oversees the administration of federal, state, and institutional aid programs that serve nearly 90% of our student population. He provides leadership and direction in all areas of financial aid administration, including: student service; policy development; legislative and regulatory analysis and compliance; program management and reconciliation; departmental budget and resource management; strategic planning; staff development; outreach; reporting; audits, and campus and community support.

Dr. Radney has served on the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrator's (CASFAA) Executive Council, as well as a presenter at the annual CASFAA and Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (WASFAA) conferences. As a university lecturer, he has taught undergraduate courses in business and first-year experience programs.

He holds a doctorate in Educational Administration from University of the Pacific, an MBA from CSU Bakersfield, and a BS in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He is a lifetime member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for collegiate schools of business.
